I could so go for a manicure right now. Things are going slow and sluggish and the weather has been having PMS mood swings.

The Holidays

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah/Chanukah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Boxing Day and all the other holidays that I missed not being home yet!

This sucks! I can’t believe I had to miss Xmas! Ugh!
Oh well, comes with the superhero territory, I guess.

I hope you all got to enjoy mountains of presents…unlike me!!

My little angels

Still out here in this forest.

I love the thrill of adventure and all, but this place is almost like some enchanted maze.
Still, anything that gets my blood flowing is alright in my book…granted it doesn’t get me killed….(again).

Besides, being next to Doctor Arcane isn’t bad at all, aside from his magic scent.

So why am I writing this?

Yeaaahh, you could say I’m feeling a bit homesick.

I really miss seeing my cats. They had better been fed and taken care of while I’ve been away!

Haha, I don’t have any doubts about that. I just can’t wait to get back and hang with Jennie and Sally too.

But while I’m still here, I’m just itchin’ to get some more action goin’ on.
Fighting the bad guys, I mean, of course.
Unless Doctor Arcane is feeling upto it…rrrowwrr.
And if he’s being too much of an ingrate, there’s always Icestar.

What can I say? I love a hot man…

But first–we still need to get outta this place.

Face off with the Forest Fiend!

Hey ya’ll! Guess what I’ve got to tell you!

But first, yes we totally kicked that tree-guy’s butt! And quite nicely too! What do I mean? Well, when the upcoming issue of League of Champions #14 gets printed, you guys can buy a copy and see for yourself!
And if you don’t know, then I strongly advise you to stay updated with my adventures!

Anyway, although he’s full of magic and I can’t stand the stuff, Doctor Arcane is one hunky dude. I flirted with him a little.

Hey! I saved his bacon when this happened! (Not to mention, it was all by accident...)

Nothing wrong with tiny bit of female charm. I do love it when guys fall head over heels for me, but he’s got to have some sort of backbone. And Doctor Arcane certainly was the sturdy type. Rrraawwwrr!

I wonder what he thinks of me…
Ahh, it doesn’t matter. I can worry about that later.
But I do know that he won’t forget me.

We made a pretty kewl team, I have to say.
Even if he’s a complete spoilsport!! An ungrateful, gung-ho, independent…handsome….strong…attractive…
Haha he’s kinda like me!

But, seriously, when we were transported to the forest, we ran into the Forest Lord, as he called himself, (the sexist!) who was in the form of one poor excuse for a tree.

The Forest Lord...before he gets his timber butt thoroughly kicked!

Do you know what this fool said?!

He didn’t even consider me as a threat because I was a woman! I know I look hot and all, but this girl CAN fight!

But this is where Doctor Arcane and I worked as one to take down that stupid looking tree lord, or whatever.

We took quite a few needles throughout the fight tho, but nothing the two of us couldn’t handle.
Actually, I think the doc got it worse than I did.

Once we exploited its weakness and took advantage of it, that poser went down fast.

…The nerve of him yapping about having a different form than that stupid tree incantation( yeah, I know of a few magic-related words, so what? In this business I had better know something!) and that he would show me after Doctor Arcane was taken out.

So, yeah like, that plan totally FAILED.

Doctor Arcane and I are doing better than fine right now. I’m glad we were a team. There would be no way that either of us would have been able to takedown that tree goof solo.

Our only problem now is to figure out a way to get out of this place…

Man, I wonder how the other heroes are holding up. Don’t die on me! We need to have more adventures together!

Latte Latte…

I could SO go for one right now…

Not that I’m complaining about being in a forest. I’m cool with wildlife–especially feline wildlife.

They’re like family, you know?

But what does bother me is being around so much magic. Doctor Arcane’s scent reeks of it.

We’ve been out here for a good while now, and still no sign of that monster…

I’ll keep you guys posted on what we find and how great we kicked its butt.

A rambling day. Stuck in a forest!

So like, I was talking to Arcanna the other day (we met up a while after trouncing a few no-gooders and worked up an appetite. Well, I did anyway! So we went out for a bite to eat) and we both came to the conclusion of what we were going to do for the rest of the weekend. ( I had no idea what was going to happen tho! Man did it surprise me!)

It almost sounds weird of me to be mentioning her in such a casual way but aside from our differences, she’s great company. Even if she’s probably somebody’s grandmother. I don’t know but anyway, getting to talking like that with her put me at a bit of ease. Not that I was stressing out over anything in particular, but it made me feel like even though I’m a superhero and into the fighting bad guys and helping the good guys type of business, I can still kick back and do things a typical feisty and beautiful young woman such as myself would do.

Pfft. As if I would stop being me in the first place. I love myself too much to be anything different.

I still love parties (and just spent an afternoon earlier this week cleaning up after it too) and knowing me, I’ll probably be throwing another one soon.

After lunch, I ran into the Winsome Whipperette. We didn’t have the time to chat for very long but she apologized for attacking me that one time at the Huntington Library in San Marino. And yeah, I apologized too since I started the whole thing. But I had to! And that wasn’t just the hero in me kicking in, that was pure common sense!

But after we parted ways, my mind wandered a bit.

Nothing bad or anything but..uggh I should see what Sally and Jennie are upto later. I would so love to get a fresh manicure right about now

I should be thankful I haven’t broken a claw…er nail yet as the Tigress.

Speaking of felines, I miss my cats.

Naah, I’m not home right now. I wish I was with Icestar. Rraawwrr!

In the middle of a forest with Doctor Arcane. Some gold chick named Aura got a group of us together and sent me and this guy to this living forest to rumble with the “Forest Feind” that lives here.

So how am I blogging? I may hate magic but technology’s another story! Just know that I’m dedicated to my fans as well as my heroic duty.

Who Am I?

Because some of you may really need to ask, (seriously?!) I’ll tell you.
Have you ever heard of an avatar? No, you don’t have to be into the meta-physical to have heard about it. Anyway, the avatar of the living is the cat. My mother once chose the same path as I did. May she rest in peace. I wish I knew more about her…

And from making that choice, I became the Tigress. In other words, I became a super hero!

It’s pretty awesome actually. Just don’t ask me to do any magic for you, but my girl Arcanna (who’s a witchgirl by the way), can totally hook you up.

My girls Sally Harris and Jennie Cooper were just as casual about it as I was.

Supportive is totally one, I guess accepting would be better.
Jennie’s big mouth actually came in being helpful after my “awakening” (Yeah, that does sound kewl to say. ‘awaaakeniiing’ )

 We still joke about that sometimes, even though the night it happened was far from being a laughing matter.

As far as I know, daddy doesn’t know what I’m upto and as far as I’m concerned, he doesn’t need to know. Yes, I know he loves me and all that other protective-parental blah, but I’m still young! I’m 18! I’m legal! I can do whatever I want, however I want with whomever I want.

And in addition to that, I’m a superhero! I plan to use everything I have to help people and make their lives better!
That’s the plan and I’m sticking to it.

Mmm the night is still young. Maybe I’ll call up a few buddies and have a small party. The occasion? Being alive!
And because I can.
If any of you run by Sally or Jennie, could you tell them to bring some snacks with them? I don’t mind getting them, but I always do! They eat more than I do whenever I throw a party! Haha, I’d like to see how much they pig out when they’re buying the food!
